United Nations World Food Programme director Cindy McCain confirmed that there is a comprehensive famine in the northern Gaza Strip and it may spread, Palestine News Agency reported.

McCain confirmed in a report published on the organisation’s website that the population in the Gaza Strip suffers from severe food shortages and food insecurity after seven months of Israeli aggression.
